It was what I needed for a great price

I got this for a great price. Just seeing the assessment and the wording of the findings was worth the price of coffee this book/CD cost me. As a student that is one area that I have always been curious about.
It has deliberate medication errors that require a little bit of digging into the charts to find.
The idea of a virtual hospital program can be taken so much farther than this program. This is very basic but for a cheap price it does allow you to dig into the charts. You can make decisions based on patients S/S and interactions with you. Do a little bit of drug review and preparation.

I bought this book because it was on my required textbook list for nursing school. However, I used it once and found that I really did not gain any knowledge from it. I thought it would give me a hands on feel without having to leave the comforts of my home however it was a little confusing in the way the program worked.

My nursing school curriculum requires this textbook and workbook. Assignments are extremely broad, with little relation to the information provided in the textbook. Little nursing knowledge is gained, aside from random statistics that you will never use...
