No Support for Modern Operating Systems.

We ordered this book because we wanted the convenience of the CD. Alas, we have yet to get it to work. The "Mac Compatibility" listed online (and now in the description of the CD itself) is for the PowerPC line of Macs, a line that was no longer produced as of 2009 or so.

No worries, right? We figured we could just run it in Windows!

Not so much. The CD does not work in Windows either, requiring Windows 2000 or Vista to run. We're going to try compatibility mode, but really... a product that is this incompatible with modern tech should not be sold for $100+ dollars. If you're running a relatively new computer or a Mac, be advised... you're going to have issues getting this to work.

Nice format

I liked this as a helpful review/supplement to my study guides for the NAVLE. It has a very similar format to the NAVLE and has options that help you prepare for the actual test. There is an abundance of questions and it tends to be a little heavy in areas that are not a focus on the actual NAVLE. There is a section where you can select which questions you want to review (so if there is an area you feel weak in, you can go over just those questions) which is both helpful and eliminates the extraneous questions.

It is a time consuming outdated product , was not able to solve lot but found ones I solved were very basic like ABC .....
NOT USEFUL FOR NAVLE especially for the price . I would not recommend this purchase !

Passed my NCLEX on 1st try!!!

I purchased this book to study for my NCLEX-PN. This was the only study material I used. However, I didn't read the book. I just used the practice questions via online that came with book code. I did almost 2,000 questions and read each rational. Took boards on Thursday 08/20/15 then on Friday 08/21/15 my LPN license appeared on the Secretary of State website around noon. My NCLEX-PN had cut of at the minimum 85 questions.

I passed the lpn test !!!!

This was the only thing I use to study for my LPN and I passed!!!!! with a minimum of 85 questions I only did the practice questions in the back of the chapter. I did not read the whole book and I did a couple of the online practice test through the book. I studied for a week and a half and prayed like crazy to God !!! So in a nut shell I really liked this book and would recommend it to everyone.

A Teacher's Review.

The Leader Kit includes a teaching DVD, the Hardback book, and the class workbook. I'll review each of these items separately. The DVD has excellent material, but mine skips alot. There are no apparent scratches on the disc. Other DVD's play fine. So this one has an issue. I do not have time to return it before classes start. So, I'll live with it. The hardback book is an excellent read - lifechanging. But I already had a copy of it and read it. That is what made me decide to teach it. So, I now have an extra hardback copy. The class workbook is a great tool to use; however, the Leader's workbook book is the same as the student book, so the Leader gets no additional insights or teaching tips. I was really disappointed in the Leader's Workbook. This leader Kit is expensive. For what it actually contains for the Leader, it is underpowered, and overpriced. For the money, the leader is getting a DVD. The rest of the kit should be sold separately, as it provides the Leader no additional resources for conducting a class.

Currently using at our Church

We are currently using this study for our Men's group at our Church. It is well done, production wise and the sessions on the DVD are delivered with humor and with examples that are relevant today.
The study guide is constructed to keep the viewer involved and the suggestions for discussion are pointed and thought provoking. They have between the sessions "home work" that keep the participants interested and progressing through the 6 session goal of getting Christian Men inspired.

Excellent Tool for Men's Ministries

I used this 6-part Series in my Church Men's Group weekly meetings. The response was enthusiastically positive! Tony Evans does an excellent, entertaining job of delineating the Biblical truths that all aspiring Christian men need to follow to grow in their faith. Tony's cheerful, positive presentation holds his audience's attention while his mastery of Biblical content clearly communicates what Christ expects of His Kingdom Men. Simply put, Kingdom Men are men who are committed to managing their lives according to Christ's plan and in doing so they advance His Kingdom in the here-and-now. I highly recommend this Series for both individual viewing as well as for groups. While the context is targeted for males, I believe that females will benefit from these materials as well.

This is a wonderful study. I think most people remember the childhood story of David and Goliath. This study takes a deeper look at David's life in a fresh new adult way. So good!

This study kit is very helpful for teaching and learning the Biblical truths from the Life of King David. He served God faithfully, but, like all of us, he wasn't perfect and made mistakes just as we do today. But he did learn from his mistakes, and we, too, can learn from ours.
